Dear Bears,
As we near the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year, The Green and Gray team is counting down the days until our return to campus; therefore, we wanted to leave you with a short note to share some of our back-to-school excitement (a.k.a. the joyous jitters we feel when shopping for new pencils at Target and laying out tentative plans for the newspaper).
Similar to previous years, The Green and Gray will publish triannually, in the fall, the winter, and the spring, both in print and on our website. However, in an effort to increase community engagement and awareness, we also aim to post weekly updates on The Green and Gray’s Instagram account (@berkshiregreenandgray). By utilizing our Instagram platform, we strive to captivate a broader audience, both within and outside the Berkshire community.
On a more personal note, as we navigate the happenings around the world while managing those in our personal lives, we felt that this was one of the shortest summers ever (and we’re sure many of you would agree). Yet, as bittersweet as it is to say goodbye to summer, we are excited to capture this year’s fleeting moments and hopefully make them last a little bit longer.
We can’t wait to settle back into campus life and begin another memorable, lively, and spectacular year under the Mountain. If you are interested in joining The Green and Gray newspaper, please stop by the club fair this fall. Until then, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.
To honor our former editor-in-chief, Trevor Sullivan-Weinstein (now off to conquer Northwestern), we would like to leave you with his signature ending: stay curious, stay informed, and stay hopeful.
