Happy fall, Bears! Starting this year, every Green & Gray issue will include a custom “Wordle” and “Connections” inspired by the New York Times games. These games are not Berkshire-themed, they have randomized answers. There will be three links to the Wordle games and one to the Connections.
How to Play Wordle: In Wordle, the player is given six attempts to guess a five-letter mystery word. Once the player guesses their first word, the letters will flip to gray, yellow, or green. The gray letters are letters that are NOT included in the mystery word. The yellow letters are included in the word but are in the INCORRECT ORDER. The green letters are in the CORRECT spaces. You have six guesses to find the mystery word! Pro tip… letters can be repeated! Good luck!
How to Play Connections: Connections is a matching game that includes four categories. The player is given a slate of words and needs to group the words in sets of FOUR to figure out their category. Once you are ready to guess, choose four words you think are related. If you guessed correctly, the words will merge into their respective categories. You have four guesses to find all of the categories! Keep in mind that some relationships are harder to spot than others.
Good luck!
