On Saturday, October 21, the Fall Festival was held. This event was run by the Student Government and the Student Activities Committee. Different forms competed against one another through different activities. Each form was assigned a color; the third form was grey, the fourth form was green, the fifth form was red, and the sixth form was black. There were various competitions for each form to play against one another, and other activities that were held throughout the night. The form activities that were held consisted of – spike ball, soccer tennis games, capture the flag, kickball, a pie eating contest, and various relay races. Each grade had a fun time working together to get points for their grade.
Some activities were held throughout the night that were not competitive such as pumpkin carving, facepaint, and tie-dye. There was also an assortment of food and beverages for the students to indulge in, like a pizza truck, cotton candy, popcorn, hot apple cider, hot chocolate, caramel-dipped apples, s’mores, and more. All of these events were a great way to keep students entertained on a Saturday night at Berkshire.
Not only was this event a great way to entertain students, but it was also a wonderful way to bond the forms and community as a whole closer together. These occasions generate amusement for the school to enjoy all together. Every weekend there is something for everyone to participate in, to provide students with the security of an inclusive environment. We cannot wait to see what next event is planned by the Student Government and Student Activities Committee for students in the future!
