Biondo: How has the transition to living in Godman affected you and your family?
McCabe: Mr. McCabe, John, and I have really enjoyed the experience of living in Godman. We feel like we are at home and love our space. We’ve also really enjoyed getting to know the girls from all across the country and world and getting to know them personally.
Biondo: What’s your favorite part about living in Godman?
McCabe: My favorite part about living in Godman is getting to know all the different girls from different parts of the world and country. [I love] to learn about the girls’ backgrounds, their interests, and why they chose Berkshire.
Biondo: How does Godman compare to other dorms you have lived in?
McCabe: Godman is very similar to other dorms I have lived in. Their students come from all over the country and the world. It’s certainly a different space. It’s a much more modern dorm than the other dorms I have lived in. It’s a great space to help create a positive community and dorm culture.
Biondo: What is the biggest change between living in a boys’ dorm versus a girls’ dorms?
McCabe: The girls and the boys have a lot of similarities. I would say that the main difference is the girls can be a little neater and focus a lot more on their skincare routines! The dorm community in Godman has been really great for John. John has enjoyed getting to know the girls in the dorm and getting to share his trucks with everyone!
